I read this book on my first year working as a software developer, and it's one of the best book investments I've made. I say that because I live in the terminal, hence its knowledge is applicable on a daily basis. As the title suggests, it covers every important Linux concept, and there's something in it for you whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned vet. Yes, it's old, but unlike Javascript frameworks, things move much slower in the Linuxverse. Many commands we still use today have remained largely unchanged in 30 years.
